Project sustainability and added value in agricultural supply chains

Lasting 30 months, the project, which began on October 1, 2021, aims to increase the yields and agricultural incomes of conventional cotton producers through capacity building measures for agricultural advisers and producers on the following topics: following:

  • Production and use of organic fertilizers
  • Crop rotation
  • Soil and water conservation techniques
  • Safe and effective use of pesticides
  • Seeding techniques,

As well as the basic economic training Farmers Business School or School of Agricultural Entrepreneurship.

Demonstration plots will be set up at the level of each agricultural adviser in order to supplement technical training with guided tours of farmers.
